Assuming you get the right pieces, this add-on is good fun. The side swipes are just close enough for the cars to bump. You need to position the leap near the end of a straight to work best and a bit of experimentation with the position will soon determine the best place. We found that about 4-5" apart was right for our cars giving a good leap. You do need to be going fairly quickly to make the jump but this is usually ok and the shape of the down ramp slot means you can make it consistently if you try. The kids love it so it's not too bad overall.

This arrived today and will be sent back to amazon tomorrow.
The two side swipes are identical, and are not as shown in the picture, They will not fit together and thus the whole package is useless.
Maybe I was just unlucky.

Just like Andrew i've had to send my set back for the same reason, both are right side swipes, instead of one of each, i suppose Andrew's are both left(makes sence)
