Digital layouts are fully compatible with standard Scalextric track pieces allowing you to race older, analogue style Scalextric Cars on this track.

Advanced 6 car Digital Powerbase enables racing up to 6 cars on a Scalextric Digital layout at the same time or be used on a standard Scalextric two-lane layout. Clear user interface with two levels of features to suit both the novice and experienced racer.

The Skill Level option on the Digital Powerbase allows you to adjust the maximum power levels to individual cars so that ‘novice versus expert’ races can be held fairly. The digital hand throttles can be calibrated to equalise controller performance too to ensure consistent performance. Several gaming modes are available with timed endurance and total lap format racing available. Ghost cars (PACER) function enables you to set 1 to 6 cars to run automatically, with switchable lane changing and lap counting on individual cars so you can race alone or hold more realistic races with few drivers.

Setting the Digital car ID is easy via a simple, one-button action, getting you up and running as quickly as possible.

The C7042 Powerbase delivers 15v at a whopping 4Amps for faster car performance and can be used in Analogue or Digital modes. This superb new feature allows you to run standard 2-lane races using older Scalextric Analogue cars (using 2 cars only).

PC connection is also possible via the ‘open-source’ output connection enabling the enthusiast to access additional functionality.
